Ray-On, the passive loudspeaker column with a controlled directivity, has celebrated its first anniversary. We have got an excellent feedback on this new product that we launched recently. On a technical front, our clients were extremely satisfied by the sound engineering from Ray-On and its acoustic quality.

Our client appreciated the aestheticism and the ease of installation of Ray-On Speakers. The installations at the client site were used for many events and the client reported us that it was always reliable and never had any breakdown.

Active Audio also met the sales objectives for the year 2012, and with so many success stories and great feedback, the Ray-On’s sales will increase in the future.

We are also thinking to extend the range. For example, the certification EN54 has been launched, and we should have the certification by the next spring 2013. Ray-On will become the first loudspeaker with a controlled directivity for the secure installation.

Ray-on 100-column loudspeaker is a passive column, which has a strong directivity allowing less reverberation. This column mounted vertically is positioned between the classical passive columns that are to be mounted tilted and DSP columns loudspeakers.

Compared to other existing systems, this innovation allows for discreet installations while having the performance in terms of intelligibility and sound quality worthy of much more complex systems.

Ray-On offers a high quality alternative for airports, train stations, churches, conference rooms, shopping malls, amusement parks, etc.

Sound Direction, our distributor in France, in close collaboration with Hého, an agency specialised in the sound design and architecture, and L'atelier Visuel, has equipped with several Ray-On loudspeakers in the shopping centre, So Ouest.

Inside the centre, Hého and L'Atelier Visuel have created a unique and adapted sound path. Twelve Ray-On 100 have been installed to spread and create an artistic sound atmosphere at the level of central place.

This innovate installation offers some moving sound experience, optimising the sound effect in a place where the reverberations are very important.

Iemke Roos, our distributor in Netherlands, in partnership with one of their well-respected dealers, have recently completed in Arnhem an installation using Active Audio’s column speakers.

The messages must be intelligible in the transport's places. So when the environment is reverberant, directive loudspeakers are necessary.
