On April, 22 2002, Xavier Meynial, then Researcher and Professor at the Acoustics Laboratory of the Maine University, founded Active Audio. His objective ? To commercialise the “Active Audio Reflector” (see picture).
The StepArray range, launched in 2004, will ensure the company’ sustainability and allow it to expand internationally.
Today, Active Audio has 8 employees, 2 ranges of high quality column loudspeakers, a guiding audio beacon for the visually impaired, and a large number of projects for the coming years…
